Love our stay again in Villa Barong, 28 lovely nights. Everything is close by walkable. Everything was great however the wifi wasn’t as good as our first stay but wasn’t a big issue for us. Krisna and her team are so welcoming, feel right at home. Hope to stay again some day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful villa complex. The staff were exceptional, especially Tony, who truly made our experience memorable. He went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable, welcome, and safe throughout our stay. The location is perfect—situated in a lovely area with a great atmosphere, quiet at night, yet conveniently close to the main tourist precinct in Sanur. My husband and I travel extensively throughout Bali, and we have rarely encountered such outstanding hospitality. Tony’s genuine care and professionalism were the highlight of our stay. We are already looking forward to returning and would highly recommend these villas to anyone visiting Sanur. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! 🌴✨

Eigentlich hätte ich 5 Sterne gegeben. Allerdings hatte ich in der 1. und 2. Nacht mit großen Ameisen im Schlafzimmer zu kämpfen (in der ersten Nacht waren es etwa 8 Stück). Diese sind teilweise über das Bett gelaufen. Man kann sich vorstellen, dass ich so gut wie gar nicht schlafen konnte vor Angst, sie krabbeln Nachts über meinen Körper. Ab der 3. Nacht war aber alles ok. Nachmittags konnte ich den Pool nicht mehr nutzen. Scheinbar hat sich mein Deo unter den Armen nicht mit der Reinigungs-Chemie im Pool vertragen. Mir fing dann nach 2-3 Minuten im Pool die Haut in den Achselhöhlen an zu brennen. So was habe ich auch noch nicht erlebt. 🙈 Morgens/Vormittags war es aber kein Problem. 🙂 Ich würde nochmal wieder kommen!

a great place to stay, Tony could not be more helpful and welcoming the villa is in great location for exploring Sanur north, south and the Westside if it was available for our next trip would book again in a heartbeat the villa has a few quirks but none of them are a deal breaker

We recently stayed at Villa Barong and it was fantastic! I echo the other comments how the pool and Villa is much bigger than the pictures and also Tony is an absolute gem if you need any help around the villa. I read some comments that the bathroom lacks privacy. Unless they have fixed this, it is not true. The bathroom is very private there is no chance anyone could accidentally see in and so is the rest of the villa and pool area. It's also so lovely and quiet and we felt like we were in our own little paradise. Can't fault this place at all and highly recommend!

Staff on site were great, we are return guests and look forward to returning. Only recommendations are as we and other guests like using the bicycles to access the restaurants and beach is to upgrade the fleet, they are in just working order but more modern maybe semi hybrid/electric , bells are mandatory but none are equipped

We stayed 25 nights in Villa Barong. Villa is larger than photos, pool is lovely to soak in, got a few hours sun baking in the courtyard near the pool too. Easy walking distance to main road and loads of warungs restaurants and only short walk to beach. Staff are super friendly We are booked to stay 28 nights in June. Highly recommend

We has a lovely time and Toni was an amazing and friendly and accommodating host. Close to everything and we wished we stayed longer. Two nights were not enough.

This is our second stay at Kubu Gajah Villas. The entire complex is wonderful, fantastic staff. Tony could do enough for us. Location is excellent with walking distance to the beach and main street. Shuttle bus on the main street is handy as are the taxi, which are very cheap.
