Great stay, perfect location in Sanur close to everything but far enough away to be nice and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. We were sad to leave our villa and would love to stay here again when we come back to Sanur
2nd time we have stayed at Kubu Gajah
The villa was perfect for our stay. Within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Very private and quiet, a perfect retreat from the busy road. The villa staff were welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We are hoping to return next time we’re in Sanur.

Great location, lovely villa and outstanding staff
We had a wonderful stay, the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a quiet location and an easy and safe to walk to shops and restaurants. The cleaning is available every day. The pool is perfect. Surrounding gardens spectacular.
The apartment is massive and really beautiful. I felt immediately at home and the staff are extremely welcoming. The apartment could have been a lot cleaner with stained shower screens, windows in the bath room, major dust under most pieces of furniture and a little mould on some kitchen equipment hidden under the sink. None of the sockets on the kitchen counter were working and I had to get them to run an extension cable so I could use the hidden bits of equipment. They knew these were not working and could have just told me rather than me bringing it to their attention. I feel Krisna may be being let down by these, well meaning, but often in effective 'managers'. A quick note to say Sanur had experienced extremely heavy rainfall for over a month so the issues in the apartment were somewhat out of Krisna's control. I would however recommend the apartments (as long as some issues are fixed) due to them looking great, in a great location and well priced.
We hebben een maand lang verbleven in villa Barong van Kubu Gajah Villas. Het was de tweede keer dat wij in een van de villa’s van Kubu Gajah Villas op vakantie zijn geweest En het was weer geweldig!! In de toekomst komen wij graag weer een keer terug!! De locatie is goed: op loopafstand van de straat met vele restaurants, warungs, wellness spa’s en winkels, maar ook op loopafstand van het mooie strand met vele standtentjes langs het wandelpad. De villa is goed: heerlijk zwembad, mooie inrichting van living room, heerlijk bed in de slaapkamer en fijne keuken met magnetron. De medewerkers zijn allen attent, behulpzaam en vriendelijk in hun dienstverlening. De eigenaresse van de villa’s reageert snel en adequaat op onze berichten en vragen. Ook voorzag Krisna ons van nuttige informatie over Bali en de directe omgeving van de villa. Zeer aanbevolen!!

The villa an amazing base to explore Sanur. It is in the middle of Sanur so the beach as well as the northern and southern ends are quite walkable. We often walked back from restaurants at the end of the night. It is very private, well maintained and quite clean. The bed was very comfortable, the aircon worked well. Tony and the rest of the staff are amazing, friendly and happy to help given the opportunity. I am 100% sure we will be back.
When we arrived to the address we were greeted and shown to our villa, it is located with a group of other villas with a gate that is closed overnight (with an access key for guests), we felt very safe and comfortable with this set up. Inside the villa we were impressed to see that everything was as described and even nicer than the photos. We were in close proximity to some great restaurants, shops and the beach so were able to walk to most places, when we wanted to go further there was a taxi rank just up the road which made it very easy to travel. After a long day of walking around we were very grateful to have a lovely pool to cool off. Krisna our host was very helpful and responsive and while we didn’t have any issues while we were there we always felt that there was someone we could reach out to if we had any questions. Thanks Krisna for the wonderfully relaxing stay!
